Lawyers and others who don’t understand business get caught up in industry-specific lingo or dated language, making documents and negotiations needlessly complex and painful.
Starting in Fall 2020, I will teach a course in mergers & acquisitions to upperclassmen. I have taught law school contract and corporate transactional courses for nearly 20 years. I train lawyers to communicate clearly and effectively and to understand how agreements and transactions help their future clients achieve real-world goals.
